Director of Organizing - Building Stronger Locals
Position Description: The Director of Organizing – Building Stronger Locals works as part of a two-person organizing team with the Director of Organizing – Recruitment and Retention. Together, these roles share responsibility for advancing KNEA’s organizing strategy, with both shared and distinct areas of focus. This position provides advice and counsel to KNEA members, leaders, management, and staff on using organizing principles to support collective bargaining efforts. It manages key components of the KNEA Training Program related to bargaining, organizing, and leadership, supports the KNEA Membership Program, and oversees KNEA negotiations and research services.
