Aspiring Educators

The KNEA-AE program continues to grow and is one of the most successful student programs in the country. The association currently has 20 local chapters on Kansas college and university campuses.

Educators Rising

Educators Rising cultivates highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college and into the profession. Every teacher in America has the skills and experience to help all students achieve their potential.

Retired

NEA-Retired and KNEA-Retired utilize the energies and enthusiasm of retired members for the benefit of public education and the education profession. The associations’ years of experience in political action, collective bargaining, communications, public relations and professional development make retired members highly effective allies for active members.

Reading Circle

Since 1926 KNEA has published a list of recommended books by reading level as a service for school librarians and classroom teachers.
