Leadership

Our team consists of dedicated individuals in various leadership positions, including KNEA President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Board of Directors, Executive Director and Associate Executive Director.

KNEA Awards

Recognizing Impact KNEA recognizes those who are making an impact in public education through our KNEA Awards. If you know someone who should be recognized for their commitment to education, nominate them for one of the awards listed below. The deadline for submitting a nomination form is 5 p.m. Feb. 1 of each year or the next business day if Feb. 1 falls on a weekend.

Grants and Scholarships

Kansas NEA, NEA and partner organizations offer many different types of grants and scholarships for members. Check out some of the grants and scholarship opportunities available and then apply!

Legal Services

With several full-time staff including staff attorneys, KNEA’s legal services department is equipped like no other professional association in Kansas to support members and locals. Our attorneys specialize in law related to education. A robust referral network is also available to members.
