Veto Session Day 4
Not much continuing to happen
The House went into session at 10:00 this morning and was done by 10:45, adjourning until 2:00 tomorrow. All of their action consisted of adopting a resolution celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kansas bilateral relationship with the Republic of Armenia and one Judiciary conference committee report.
The Senate convened at 2:30 in the afternoon. They took roll, had a prayer, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and left. Actually, they recessed until "the sound of the gavel" because a few members missed roll call and this way they can still check in. When the gavel sounds, they will take the additional names and then adjourn until tomorrow.
Senate Majority Leader Terry Bruce had told Senators on Friday to pack enough clothes to get them through the weekend. Probably a good idea since they have already checked of one weekday.
No committee meetings were announced in either chamber.
