The second public draft of the Next Generation Science Standards is now available
The second public draft of the Next Generation Science Standards is now available at http://www.nextgenscience.org/.
The standards will be available for public comment through the close of business on Tuesday, January 29. Kansas educators and others with an interest in science education are encouraged to review the standards and provide comments and feedback online. When you review the standards, please indicate in the demographic information that you are from Kansas.
A review of the Framework for K-12 Science Education is strongly recommended prior to reviewing the standards draft. The Framework, as well as other resources related to the NGSS, can be found on the KSDE science website. Specific resources include:
